Fidelis has an opportunity for a Sales Executive / Business Development professional. This role involves selling our Biopharm Direct Hire and Consulting services.

We are seeking a consultative Sales Executive with significant, complex selling experience who can work directly with client leaders to win contracts.

This role requires the ability to create and cultivate solid business relationships with Clinical Operations and Talent acquisition professionals to provide top-tier talent to their teams.

This role will require :

1. Prospecting and Lead Generation :

  • Identify potential clients and accounts in the biopharmaceutical and clinical research industry.
  • Utilize various sources, including networking, industry events, and social media, to generate leads.
  • Continuously monitor the biopharmaceutical and clinical research industry, staying up-to-date with changes, trends, and opportunities.

2. Research and Targeting :

  • Research key decision-makers and influencers within targeted organizations.
  • Gather information on their roles, responsibilities, and pain points.
  • Understand the specific staffing needs and challenges within the biopharmaceutical and clinical research sector.
  • Adapt strategies and offerings to align with industry developments.

3. Outreach and Communication :

  • Initiate outbound communication through various channels, especially phone.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Stay in regular contact to address any evolving needs or concerns.

4. Client Needs Assessment :

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments during meetings to identify specific staffing challenges and requirements.
  • Engage in negotiations to reach mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
  • Close deals and secure long-term staffing contracts.

5. Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting and sales activities.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on the sales pipeline and progress to management.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and developments.
  • Attend relevant industry events and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in the staffing industry.
  • Ability to find, contact, qualify, and close current and prospective clients.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, at operational and executive levels.
  • A broad understanding of the clinical research industry is strongly preferred.
