Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Manager to join our team to join our team in the DMV area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Implementing and sustaining IT and autonomous inventory management systems. They develop plans and processes to analyze data, identify and reduce excess inventory, and increase allowances and spare quantities for all assets.
Reviews and approves standard and ad hoc reports from logistics-related systems as necessary.
Consults with senior management to determine the best approaches for supply activities, including requisition, receipt, storage, shipment, and issuance of parts, materials, and equipment needed for the development, deployment, installation, and operation of IT systems aligned with the ICON tasks.
Conducts site assessments to identify problems and provides assistance to the NSIN and its Mission Partners in determining the necessary IT elements for system implementation.
Collaborates with NSIN, Mission Partners, and SMEs on using state-of-the-art commercial items that support full system development and logistics software installation to enhance DoD supply chain management processes for procurement, inventory, and distribution management.
Ensures globally responsive, sustainable, and cost-effective logistics and material readiness. They also provide point-to-point coordination of IT delivery for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) between departure and arrival destinations.
Basic Qualifications :
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration, Information Technology, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, or a related discipline
Four (4) years of additional experience is required with a High School diploma; two (2) years of additional experience is required with an Associate’s degree
A Master’s degree may be considered in lieu of two (2) years of experience; a Ph.D. can be considered in lieu of four (4) years of experience
Two (2) years of position-specific experience
Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, or related discipline.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, and / or SharePoint.
Clearance Requirements :
Must possess an active TS / SCI clearance
Physical Requirements :
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
For all positions requiring access to technology / software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.
S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
