Employbridge is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic A in Panorama City, CA!
Summary : Utilize mechanical and electrical expertise to conduct repairs, installations, and preventative / unplanned maintenance on all production equipment.
- Install, trouble-shoot, and repair solid state and electronic equipment as well as mechanical equipment.
- Install, operates, maintains, checks, and trouble-shoots all types of A / C and D / C electrical equipment.
- Procedure of troubleshooting to determine when parts need replacement and when repairs are necessary.
- Dismantles, repairs, and re-assembles gearboxes, fans, conveyors, blowers, compressors, pump, valve, and mechanical equipment when directed.
- Installs and repairs electrical conduit, cables, piping, tubing, controls, and grounding as directed.
- Operates mobile lift truck and hoisting in the performance of maintenance work. Possess knowledge of simple rigging when necessary for equipment moving and relocation.
- Disassemble, repair and reassemble gear boxes, fans conveyors, blowers, compressors, pumps, valves, furnaces, drives and all allied mechanical equipment related to electrical troubleshooting
Experience : 2 years of industrial maintenance / electrical experience. Food / beverage production environment experience preferred.
Skills :
- Familiar with local, state and federal electric codes
- Certified for PLC programming preferred (Allen Bradley or similar)
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- AC and DC electrical and mechanical equipment
- Electrical conduits, cables, piping and tubing.
- Complex electrical circuits experience
- Experience with hydraulic and air compressors
- Knowledge of Gas & Plasma cutting equipment, MIG / TIG / ARC welding
- Power and hand tools.
- Electrical test equipment.
