We are partnering with a school in the Cincinnati, Ohio area to find a Paraprofessional (PARA) or Teacher Assistant (TA) for the remainder of the 2023 / 2024 school year.
We are looking for a hard-working candidate wanting to work with Special Education students in grades 5th - 8th :
Position Details :
- 04 / 29 / 2024 - 05 / 31 / 2024
- Full time / 35 hours a week
- Caseload : Support resource room / self-contained classroom for students in grades 5th - 8th.
- Pay Rate : $15 - $25 per hour, depending on previous experience
Daily Responsibilities :
- Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, learning challenges, or English language learners.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans, instructional activities, and behavior management strategies.
- Assist in conducting classroom assessments, tests, and evaluations, as well as documenting student progress.
Requirements :
- Must have a High School Diploma / GED
- Must have a Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit with ESEA endorsement :
- Passing score on ParaPro Exam (456); or
- 48 Semester hours from accredited institution
