Position Overview :

Are you a detail-oriented pro with a knack for precision? We’re looking for a Quality Inspector in our Physical Dimensional Calibration Lab who are ready to ensure our clients' measurement instruments are always spot-on.

As a Quality Control Specialist, you’ll be a key player in maintaining the accuracy and reliability that our clients depend on.

Responsibilities :

• Calibrate primary, secondary, and / or working standards with precision.
• Generate detailed calibration reports and certificates, ensuring compliance with ISO / IEC 17025 standards.
• Inspect calibration equipment routinely to meet high-quality standards.
• Develop calibration procedures for new or specialized equipment in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and clients.
• Maintain efficient equipment operation, troubleshooting, and calibration.
• Perform maintenance and repair of precision equipment.
• Manage calibration standards, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in quality control, internal audits, and continuous improvement processes.
• Engage in projects to enhance efficiency, expand services, or address customer needs.

All calibration is to be performed in accordance with NIST traceable standards. MQC is A2LA Accredited to ISO / IEC 17025, ANSI / NCSL Z540.

3-2006, and ANSI / NCSL Z540-1-1994.

Requirements and Skills :

• 3-4 years of Quality Control experience required.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
• Physical Dimensional Calibration training is preferred.
• Military PMEL / TMDE / DOD training preferred.
• Familiarity with calibration and working with precision measurement equipment.
• Proven experience working under ISO 17025 is a strong plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing error-free work.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Outstanding organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Job Type : Full-time, Monday- Friday, 8- hour shifts

Pay : $20-30

Location :

In-person work located in Chatsworth, CA 91311. Candidates must either reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
