The Benefits and Wellness team is currently looking to hire a Program Management expert to lead largescale projects related to occupational health, benefits, and wellness.

Reporting directly to the Division Chief of Benefits and Wellness, this individual will support the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at improving the health and wellness of our city employees.

Position Description :

Serve as a key program contact for on-site occupational health clinics, including the creation of

project and engagement plans, data analysis, and reporting

Develop a strategic plan related to wellness, inclusive of large-scale on-site wellness initiatives

such as health fairs with third-party community partners, 5K walks / runs, and other on-site

wellness focused employee engagement initiatives

Act as a liaison to departmental partners such as Strategic Communications to build

relationships across the organization and increase utilization of resources and services, including

health clinics

Ability to present Webinars and programs related to various benefits, health, and wellness

topics

Interact with employees daily regarding division offerings and provide excellent customer

service to employees in-person, by phone, and via email

Qualifications :

Possess experience in the development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of

benefits, health and wellness initiatives aimed toward improving the health status of employees

Proven experience around high priority requests and working in a fast paced and dynamic

environment

Have a working knowledge of current and emerging healthcare trends and health

behavior / education principles and communication methods

  • Experience leading new program rollouts with third-party vendors and community organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in public health, human resources, public relations, healthcare administration,

exercise / nutrition science, or related field

  • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, expertise in Excel a plus
