Junior Financial Analyst - Financial Performance
Position Overview :
The Junior Financial Analyst - Financial Performance will assist in analyzing financial data, creating reports, and supporting performance evaluation processes.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for finance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Financial Analysis : Assist in analyzing financial performance metrics, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Reporting : Prepare and maintain regular financial reports and performance dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Budgeting & Forecasting : Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data, preparing variance analyses, and assisting with financial modeling.
- Data Management : Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data by performing data reconciliations and maintaining financial databases.
- Trend Analysis : Identify and analyze trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in financial performance.
- Collaboration : Work closely with senior analysts and other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Ad-hoc Analysis : Perform ad-hoc analyses and special projects as required to support business objectives and decision-making processes.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience : 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.
- Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with financial modeling and reporting tools.
Knowledge of financial software (e.g., ERP systems) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial data management and reporting.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
