Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Remote School Social Worker to provide virtual support to students in Michigan. This is a full-time, contract position where you will work directly with K-12 students, offering social-emotional support, crisis intervention, and resources to foster student success.
As a remote social worker, youll collaborate with school staff and families to address student needs, helping them overcome challenges and succeed academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide virtual counseling and social-emotional support to K-12 students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student challenges and needs.
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and implement social work strategies to support student success.
- Offer crisis intervention and refer students to additional services as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with Michigan school social work regulations.
Required Qualifications :
- Masters Degree : Must have a masters degree in social work.
- Michigan Social Worker 310 Letter : Required to practice in Michigan schools.
- LARA License : Must hold an active Michigan LARA (Licensing and Regulatory Affairs) license.
- Experience : Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
