Data Analyst
$100K - $115K + benefits
Hybrid onsite 3x per week in Woodland Hills, CA
We are seeking a Data Analyst based in Woodland Hills, California. This role involves sourcing, preparing, and packaging data to answer key business questions, working across data tables / databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.
As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand data requirements, analyze trends, build reports, and create compelling data visualizations to communicate findings.
Responsibilities :
- Source, prepare, and package data to address key business queries
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to comprehend data requirements and ensure data accuracy
- Analyze trends in booking activity, marketing efficiency, customer dynamics and make impactful recommendations for the business
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI to provide key insights into sales and marketing metrics
- Build reports with auditing checks to ensure accurate, repeatable, and reliable analytics
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual reporting processes
- Develop and execute research & analysis to inform preliminary hypotheses in response to ad hoc strategic questions arising from the Executive Team
- Create compelling data visualizations to communicate findings in a clear and easily understandable manner
- Contribute to the development and preparation of materials to support Executive Team decision making
- Maintain strong attention to detail, process documentation, and quality & validation controls when working with data.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Reporting Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Analytics and Data Analytics
- Proficient in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, including Power BI
- Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Experience in Data Analysis and interpretation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
