Unit Information : NICU level III Location : HCA Houston Healthcare- Northwest Address : 710 Cypress Creek Pkwy Floor : 2 nd floor Building : Women’s Atrium General Information Tell us about the unit(s) : · Number of Beds - 24 · Number of Staff 38 · Type of staff : o Day Shift 1 Charge, 4-6 RNs, 1 PCA, 1 Milk Tech o Night Shift - 1 Charge, 4-6 RN · Patient Ratios level 3 2 : 1 (sometimes 3 : 1), level 2 4 : 1 · Type of equipment ventilator, IV pumps, CPAP, Oscillator, Phototherapy lights / blankets · EMR Meditech / GE Centriciy (CPN) Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for : Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Level III NICU experience · Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. · Level III NICU Experience · Autonomy in practice List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : · Lumbar punctures, chest tubes, intubation, IV starts, Arterial stick, UAC / UVC placement and maintenance, PAL maintenance · Best personality Fit : · Teamwork, helpful, flexible REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS : · NRP / BLS Floating Area(s) : · N / A Dress Code : · Scrub Color / Attire - royal Blue scrubs Unit Guidelines / Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
