South County Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is hiring for an Automotive Service Technician. We are looking to add a couple of quality automotive service technicians to our team.
We are consistently one of the top volume service departments in the St. Louis area and we offer the BEST pay in the St.

We are currently looking for entry-level and experienced technicians. The salary range is $17.50-$44.00 per hour.
Qualifications
- ASE certifications
- Prior Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram experience a plus!
- Previous automotive technician experience required
- Results-driven

- Stamina to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Understand and complete required training for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policy, regarding safeguarding all customer vehicles, property and information
- Must have basic tools
- Valid driver’s license and insurable
- Must pass : Background check and Drug test

Responsibilities
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Complete thorough multi-point inspection on every vehicle and identify necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance items needed
- Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer
- Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required
- Notify the service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
- Document all work performed and be sure all time is properly flagged
- Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician, keeping in mind that the customer vehicle should not be used for personal errands
- Conduct road tests to determine work needed and to confirm work was successfully completed when necessary and practical
- Take care to ensure that customer’s vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes
- Stay current on all factory technical bulletins
- Ensure that customers’ vehicles are kept clean
- Keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor
- Report to management any situation or condition that would jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its customers, or employees
- Complete the work, notations, and time-keeping necessary to the successful completion of warranty repair orders and the filing of warranty claims
- Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
- Other duties as assigned
