Responsibilities include loading products for deliveries, unloading materials from suppliers, and providing friendly and professional customer service representing ERS.

The job involves various physical tasks such as standing, walking, handling materials, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and lifting / moving up to 100 pounds.

It requires flexibility to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, with safety being the top priority.

Requirements :

Essential Functions (Warehouse Associate) :

• Safely and promptly pulling roofing products, must have at least one year of forklift experience.
• Loading products for deliveries and unloading inbound materials from suppliers.
• Representing ERS to customers, prioritizing friendly and professional customer service.
• Effective and clear communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Capability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Engaging in various physical activities such as standing, walking, handling materials, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Being willing and capable of working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Regularly lifting and / or moving objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Prioritizing safety as the primary concern.

Qualifications :

• Strong emphasis on safety consciousness.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Ability to repetitively lift at least 100 lbs.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of forklift operation experience.
• Basic skills such as inspection, mathematics, and reading comprehension are necessary.
• Dependability and reliability are essential.

Work Environment :

The work environment for this role primarily consists of a warehouse setting where roofing products are stored and managed.

The atmosphere may vary between indoor and outdoor environments, as the job requires flexibility to work in all weather conditions.

Safety is of utmost importance in this environment, and employees are expected to prioritize it in all aspects of their work.

Physical Demands :

The physical demands of this role are diverse and can be strenuous at times. Employees will be required to engage in various physical activities such as standing, walking, handling materials, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and lifting or moving objects weighing up to 100 pounds.

These tasks necessitate physical strength, endurance, and agility. Additionally, employees must be capable of safely operating forklifts and other equipment, which requires coordination and concentration.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work :

This position is full-time, with workdays scheduled from Monday to Friday, and occasional Saturdays. Work hours may vary.

Travel is not required for this position.

Required Education and Experience :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience.

Experience : Previous warehouse experience is preferred with at least 1 year forklift operation experience.
