Job Summary
The LPN is accountable for performing
professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
- Coordinates care in an interdisciplinary manner and is accountable for all residents assigned to him / her according to established nurse practice act.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient / customer's status.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
- Promotes and nurtures Mother Joseph Manor’s philosophy of a resident centered care environment.
Education and / or Experience
- Graduation from an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
- Geriatric, medical, or surgical experience preferred.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Current license to practice nursing in the State of South Dakota.
- Membership in professional organization preferred.
- BLS certification required.
Work Schedule
Dayshift : 6 : 00 pm - 9 : 00 pm; 72hrs / 2wks
6 : 00 am - 6 : 30 pm
Every 3rd weekend
†††††††Every 3rd holiday
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$22.75 - $31.50 per hour
