Service Manager - Bilingual Spanish

at Dempsey Uniform and Linen Supply Clifton, NJ The Service Manager has full responsibility over the NJ Service Department.

This includes but is not limited to overall customer retention, strategic account management, managing and developing Route Service Representatives, ensuring proper staffing levels, coordination with supporting plant operations, oversight of leased delivery fleet and optimizing the route delivery systems at this location.

The ideal candidate will provide and maintain excellent customer service with a focus on customer retention and be the frontline service contact for our external customers.

Responsibilities

• Represent Dempsey with customers, employees, community, industry associates and governmental agencies as directed by the General Manager
• Lead and motivate a trained staff to provide quality service to all customers in a timely manner
• Serve as the key liaison to sales and management to ensure consistent customer satisfaction
• Provide status and service reports to recommend next steps to management
• Have demonstrated the ability to be conscientious, self-motivated and persistent in resolving potential problems before they impact the customer
• Mentor direct reports to expand their capabilities and build management depth.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• Have previous supervisory / management experience in a customer-facing function (2-3 years experience is strongly preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to work early mornings, early evenings and / or occasional weekend days
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish) Required
