Metro Services is looking to hire an MP&L Customer Service Representative for Manufacturing companies in Carey, OH. The ideal candidate would have MP&L, Scheduling, SAP, and Automotive experience.

Duties for this position include :

• Responsible for supervising activities related to the planning of logistical processes for outbound, such as calculating adequate inventory levels
• Prepare Forecasts according to customer demand so that the company can analyze its capacity, machines, people, and stock
• Negotiation of shipments with customers, according to systems (EDI, Site, and Kanban)
• Managing all customer metrics, delivery performance, ASN, collection schedule, and delivery tracking to the customer
• Support of weekend coverage for assembly plants
• EHS : Follow all procedures and instructions that are applicable for the respective workplace or relevant EH&S activity

Compensation (USD) :

$61,000 - $70,000 / year depending on experience

Schedule : 1st Shift

1st Shift

6 : 00 a.m. - 2 : 00 p.m.

Could change based on production needs

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements :

• Two years experience in material planning / scheduling or customer service experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in a field related to production and inventory control or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience using SAP required
• Experience using MRP / ERP system - SAP preferred
• Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency requirements as related to scheduling activities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Strong problem-solving and analysis skills
• Ability to understand customer demand and how to alter production to meet demand as well as an ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities
• Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving functions including international freight
• Previous automotive is a plus, but not necessary
