Responsibilities
and Desired Competencies :
- Answering phones, meeting and greeting on-site
- Stocking kitchen and supplies
- Distributing mail
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
- 2-3 years in a similar role
- Must be able to follow company policy by maintaining the visitors logbook.
- Proven ability to maintain a punctual record of attendance
- Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills
- Customer orientation focusing on needs of internal customers delivering high quality results; must be able to operate in a positive, helpful and productive manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proven ability to grasp new material quickly; creative, organized, innovative thinker who takes an entrepreneurial approach to the job
- Polished and mature verbal, written, email and phone communication skills; ability to effectively represent the company to a variety of audiences
- Results driven, improvement focused, and action oriented self-starter who can handle various responsibilities simultaneously and proactively and continually look for a better way of doing things
- Business insight and the ability to make a contribution to the department; strong analytical skills; excellent organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds
- Ability to handle sensitive information; must be able to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- The ability and desire to embrace and manage change; demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of productivity and effectiveness in the midst of ambiguity or stress
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office machinery.
- Proven ability to frequently communicate with colleagues, direct reports, internal customers, and vendors and must be able to effectively exchange information in these situations
- English; fluency in other languages a plus
