Lead with Confidence : You'll oversee staffing assignments, ensuring our teams are effectively deployed to maintain top-notch patient care while meeting productivity targets.
Master of Organization : From planning and scheduling to maintaining adequate staffing levels (including call), you'll keep everything running smoothly like clockwork.
Performance Perfectionist : Reviewing daily performance metrics, you'll ensure our department not only meets but exceeds productivity targets and performance benchmarks.
Strategic Staffing Savvy : With your keen eye for talent, you'll make staffing recommendations and have a say in crucial decisions regarding hiring, promotions, and more.
Team Player Extraordinair e : Regularly communicating with supervisors and staff, participating in interdisciplinary meetings, and attending hospital staff gatherings, you'll be the linchpin that keeps our entire healthcare ecosystem connected.
Budgeting Brilliance : Assist in the preparation of unit budgets, contributing to the financial health of our department and organization.
Qualifications You Bring :
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting.
- Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree.
- 5 years of expertise in the relevant area, with at least two years in a supervisory or charge nurse role in Surgery or Day Surgery.
