What you’ll do :
The Branch Operations Audit and Governance Specialist will complete branch audits and related review activities to ensure the timely completion of the branch audits including audit validations.
Responsible for performing various assigned branch audits and reviews. Identify and communicate control deficiencies to bank and corporate management;
monitor, implement and validate for corrective actions
Ensure audit engagement quality, including adherence to policies and standards, timely communication and validation of remediation action for audit findings, training and developing branch audit team members
Adhere to Corporate Code of Ethics. Maintain confidentiality of the information and protects company’s sensitive information and materials
Establish and maintain strong partnerships across all disciplines to drive collaborative approach
Qualifications :
3-5 years of experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Knowledge of banking regulatory policies
Proven ability to manage and coordinate the audits of a group; understands the importance of complying with all department, bank and regulatory policies
Ability to work weekends and evenings as dictated by operational needs / projects
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to travel greater than 50% within bank region
