About The Position
Opportunity Details
Medicus is proud to partner with a leading hospital 15 minutes from Des Moines, Iowa, that has an opportunity for a Psychiatrist to provide short-term locum inpatient coverage.
Opportunity Highlights :
- Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
- Call Requirement : In-house / beeper, one weekend per month
- Patient Census : 13-16 per day
- Patient Ages : Adult
- Case Types : Bipolar, MDD, psychosis, PTSD, anxiety, personality disorders, and SI / HI
- Support Staff : Social worker, recreational therapist, psych techs, RN / LPNs, CMO, and resident physicians / medical student
- Dictation : Dragon
- Board certification required
- Paid travel & expenses
