MS / Tele Registered Nurse

DCH is unable to accommodate RTO requests for the following holiday dates : 11 / 28, 11 / 29, 12 / 24, 12 / 25, 12 / 31, 1 / 1

Margin / OT Billing Rules - Candidates contracted for 48 hours - OT is billed after 48hrs

ITC & perm staff must have been termed for at least 6 months

Nursys : No hits are allowed, if there is a hit of ANY kind it is an automatic redirect

Locals are welcome to submit

Specialty : MS / Tele, 36 or 48 hours accepted for this position

Med Surg & MS / Tele Ratios : 1 : 5 / 6 with occasional 1 : 7. This is a fast pace / high case load facility - please ensure candidates are cleared on the job requirements prior to submitting

Experience Required : 2 years

First time travelers are accepted

Every other weekend required

Floating Required : Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away)

Certifications required : BCLS

Skills Required : Cardiac Monitoring, Colostomy Care, Feeding Tube Care and Management, Renal Failure, IV Therapy / Phlebotomy, Heparin / Insulin / PCA Experience, CVA, Respiratory / Thoracic Experience and Wound Care

Skills Preferred : Management of Dysrhythmias, Post Angiogram and Post MI

Must pass cardiac exam during orientation

EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation

Unit Info

7N cares for a diverse Med / Surg population. The unit is primarily cared for by Hospitalists who have physician or NP coverage 24 / 7.
