What does this role look like?
The role will be supporting the National Security Space Line of Business. This role will offer you the following daily challenges :
- Lead proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities.
- Establish and maintain excellent internal and external customer relationships
- Implement business strategies for on-contract growth, and provide creative solutions to overcome challenges
- Advise Contracts and Program leadership of contractual rights, obligations, and risks.
- Lead cross-functional LM teams to negotiate contracts.
Desired skills
- Experience in strategy development for new captures
- Experience negotiating and managing complex development and production contracts
- Knowledge and documented application of acquisition regulations (FAR, DFAR)
- Experience with Other Transactional Authority (OTA) agreements.
- Ability to work independently under very limited supervision.
- Extremely strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Professional certifications such as Certified Commercial -Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) are a plus.
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Active TS / SCI clearance
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
- Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership, and suppliers
- Bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch. In addition to the work, you love being part of a team and working collaboratively through the process
