If so, Bison Pumps is looking for a Pump Product Engineer to join our team and help us revolutionize the pumping industry.
As a Pump Product Engineer at Bison Pumps, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of cutting-edge water pumps.
You will work closely with our team of engineers, designers, and product managers to bring new pump products to market and continuously improve our existing products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and development of new pump products, from concept to production
- Conduct research and experiments to improve existing pump products and develop new technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of new pump products into our current portfolio
- Analyze data and feedback from customers to identify opportunities for product improvements
- Create and maintain product specifications, technical drawings, and documentation
- Support the manufacturing process by providing design solutions and troubleshooting any issues that arise
- Ensure all pump products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in pump technology to inform product development decisions
- Participate in customer meetings and provide technical support and guidance on pump products
- Act as a subject matter expert on pump products, both internally and externally
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 8 years of experience in pump design and product development
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and materials science
- Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques
- Familiarity with pump industry standards and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Salary : $36,000 to $50,000 yearly
