KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead reliability and system safety efforts for various electromechanical aerospace product lines including flight control actuation systems and environmental control systems.
- System Safety Analysis :
- Safety requirements decomposition
- Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
- Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA)
- Common Mode Analysis (CMA)
- Reliability Analysis :
- Reliability predictions (MTBF, failure rates, MTBUR)
- Reliability requirements analysis
- Reliability Block diagrams (series and parallel modeling)
- Failure Modes and Effects and Analysis (FMEA / FMECA)
- Weibull analysis
- Collaborate with design and system engineering teams to assure that product meets customer requirements.
- Creation and delivery of analytical reports to the customer.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.
S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in a reliability or system safety role
- 5+ years of experience in leading technical project teams
WE VALUE
- Experience with reliability and safety analysis on Design Assurance Level (DAL) A systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Exposure to MIL-STD-882 / 785
- Knowledge of aerospace components including actuation systems and environmental control systems
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information
