Position Overview :

The Inventory Associate is a key player in managing the day-to-day operations within the Inventory Department. This role involves collaborating with multiple departments to investigate and resolve inventory-related issues and inquiries. The Inventory Associate is responsible for reconciling data and ensuring accurate inventory records, including any necessary adjustments or moves of on-hand inventory.

Essential Job Functions :

• Service Shipping Department : Provide timely support to the shipping department staff to facilitate accurate and efficient order completion.
• Audit Bin Locations : Conduct audits of bin locations as required across various buildings to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company needs.
• Maintain Inventory : Oversee inventory levels based on audit findings and requests from internal and external customers, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
• Data Reconciliation : Reconcile inventory data regularly, addressing discrepancies and making necessary adjustments to maintain accurate on-hand inventory records.
• Issue Investigation : Work with multiple departments to investigate and resolve any inventory issues or inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
• Inventory Adjustments : Be accountable for performing and documenting any adjustments or moves of inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Reporting : Generate and review inventory reports, identifying trends and issues that may require attention or corrective action.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments to support inventory-related initiatives and improvements, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
• Compliance : Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures related to inventory control and management.
