School Picture Day Photographer STARTING ASAP
LOOKING TO HIRE 2 PEOPLE IMMEDIATELY
Job Description : Our photographers play a key role in helping families capture memories for a lifetime. Successful photographers have high energy and enthusiasm while establishing a connection with students and their families.
This job requires early morning hours and daily travel.
Primary Responsibilities : Job may consist of Photographing in the Studio and on Location at Schools. Pose and photograph School Children.
Consistently capture high-quality portraits. Assemble equipment at each picture day site. Maintain equipment in a safe manner and transport between schools according to company guidelines.
Provide clear direction and expectations for subjects, parents, school personnel, and student helpers regarding their role in Photo Day.
Accurately complete and turn in all required picture day materials within assigned timelines. Work closely with staff to establish appropriate work and effectively resolve any issues.
Represent our company in a professional manner at all times while adhering to all Company and school rules and policies.
Display confidence and professionalism at all times. Use safe work habits, including proper lifting and safe driving. Maintain confidentiality of school and student-related information.
Job Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively interact with school-age children and adults. Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
Willing to work a varied seasonal schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and long days. Demonstrate a positive and professional image, following our Dress Code Requirements daily.
Reliable insured transportation to reach assigned locations and to transport several pieces of photography equipment.. Vehicle insurance must be current and in compliance with state law.
Must have a valid driver’s license. Ability to lift (up to 50 lbs) and operate camera equipment. Ability to travel up to 2 ½ to 3 hours one way.
Employment with Metro Portraits is contingent upon successful results of a criminal background and driving record check.
Paid training $90 / per day. Photographers pay$130 per day with $20 expenses. The use of professional photography equipment (complete mobile studio provided).
