Maintenance Technician Weekend Shift

Duties of the maintenance technician :

• Perform a diverse range of tasks, including the installation and maintenance of machinery and plant facilities.
• Respond promptly to emergency repairs and conduct scheduled maintenance during service intervals.
• Apply mechanical skills, covering mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and tool repairs.
• Interpret equipment manuals, prints, schematics, and work orders for maintenance.
• Diagnose issues, replace, or repair parts, test, and adjust.
• Implement regular preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Use various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Identify and promptly address faulty operations, defective material, and safety issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, maintain a clean work area, and wear approved personal protective equipment.

Requirements of the maintenance technician :

• Possess prior work experience in a comparable role.
• Demonstrate the ability to read and comprehend measurements using tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Exhibit knowledge of general shop procedures, rules, and safety precautions.
