Purpose and Essential Duties

• Installation and commission of a wide variety of HVAC equipment.
• Install piping including copper, PVC, steel etc.
• Proficient in brazing, soldering, and Pro Press.
• Perform installation of HVAC equipment such as atmospheric boiler, water-cooled chiller.
• Establish and maintain clear communications with customers while both on and off the customer job sites.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and tool procurement of individual service vehicle.
• Promote and perform all aspects of BMCC's safety procedures and policies.

This position is Full Time, Non-Exempt and reports to the Service Manager

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• 3+ years of verifiable experience with the installation of commercial HVAC systems.
• Must have EPA certification.
• Experience with Energy recovery ventilator services, atmospheric boiler maintenance, and service.
• Proficient in take-offs and running pipe of all kinds including Copper, PVC, Black Iron, & Pro Press.

Travel Requirements

Infrequent travel to Company or client locations. Approximately 10% of time will be spent traveling.

Physical / Work Environment Requirements

Essential

Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs, be able to bend / stoop, squat / crouch, climb, kneel and twist. Must be able to climb ladders, work both inside and outside, and around moving equipment safely.
