Position Overview : We have openings for Special Education Teachers in various areas, including :
- ASD Teacher (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
- Elementary SSN Teacher (Specialized Support Needs)
- Middle School ASD Teacher (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Design and Implement Specialized Instruction : Provide one-on-one, small group, and large classroom instruction tailored to the needs of special education students.
- Collaborate on Curriculum : Work with general educators to plan, modify curriculum, team teach, and municate students abilities and needs.
- Develop Behavioral Plans : Create, implement, and review behavioral plans for designated students to ensure their effectiveness.
- Participate in Multidisciplinary Teams : Contribute to IEP and referral meetings, conferences, and the development of a multidisciplinary approach to enhance students education.
- Maintain munication : Keep open lines of munication with regular educators, school staff, students, and parents.
- Create Supportive Environments : Foster a safe, supportive, and understanding environment for students with disabilities.
Qualifications :
- Special Education Certification : Must hold valid certification for Special Education in Colorado.
- Experience : Experience in teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or specialized support needs is preferred.
