Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Responsible for using components and parts to produce parts, assemblies, and machines.

• Reads and interprets blueprints, positions parts, and examines connections for correct fit.
• completes mechanical and electrical installations into machine assemblies
• Performs repairs as needed and reports errors in the assembly line.

• Mechanical Aptitude
• Manufacturing experience
• Mechanical Assembly
• Hand and power tools
• Measurements
• Ability to read or work from drawings and prints
• Some Electrical Aptitude is a plus

Work Environment

Environmentally friendly shop and warehouse location. Cement floors, daylight, seasonally adjusted temperatures. Overhead cranes, moving fork trucks on a constant basis.

Welding arcs on an occasional basis. Exposure to paints, solvents, degreaser, adhesives / sealants,
