What this position does :
The Reconstruction Production Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of Reconstruction projects while supporting, training and guiding the Project Managers.
Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership and guidance to reconstruction Project Managers.
- Ensure Project Managers adhere to company policies and industry standards.
- Conduct regular meetings with Project Managers to review project progress and address any issues or deviations from the plan.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards are maintained and monitor the quality of work performed by reconstruction crews.
- Address any deficiencies or areas for improvement promptly.
- Train and mentor Project Managers.
- Conduct goal setting and review meetings to provide coaching and opportunity to improve skills, performance and growth.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
- Support Project Managers as they monitor project budgets and expenses.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality, continuously building relationships with vendor partners.
- Ensure projects are completed within the allocated budget.
- Prepare detailed reports for leadership review.
- Use data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Issue resolution - be the point of contact for customers and adjusters if they have any questions and / or concerns and resolve those in effective and timely manner.
- Be accessible by phone and email throughout the working week and during emergencies, if needed.
- Set strategic long and short-term departmental goals and evaluate outcomes.
- Motivate and inspire staff while facilitating personal growth.
- Help with recruiting, interviewing, and orienting new staff members.
- Oversee the daily operations and strategy of the Reconstruction department.

- Supervise the billing process to ensure all completed work is billed on time and accounts are paid in full on time.
- Supervise the entire process to convert leads into billable Work Orders in our pipeline, achieving revenue and margin goals each month.
- Assist other team members when needed and foster a positive working relationship with other departments.
- Attend all appropriate company meeting and company sponsored training sessions.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Experience in managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Team player
- Strong time management skills
- Extremely organized
Physical Requirements :
- Lift (constantly) 5-40 lbs., lift (frequently) 20-100 lbs.
- Standing. walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, stooping, and / or reaching for 8+ hours / day
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild / moderate to extreme cold / heat
- Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and / or fingers
- Operating machinery and / or power tools
- Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment
