ResponsibilitiesAssist in the provision of behavioral health services and safety support for patients.Collect, record, and report data on client progress making specific instructional changes according to established guidelines and complete informal evaluations as required.

Provide patient assistance including deescalating volatile situations and alert team members to any areas of concern.Assist with the search, inventory, storage, and return of patient property.

May serve as a member of the crisis response team and participate in situational debriefs as required.May assist in the planning and implementation of individualized behavior support plans.

RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration : Preferred Credential(s) :

BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Education : High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Note : Required professional licensure / certification can be used in lieu of education or experience,if applicable.Additional PreferencesAdditional Role ResponsibilitiesAssist individuals 18 and older who have mental health / physical health issues with obtaining and maintaining employment through the support of the Department of Rehabilitation Program.

Help individuals with resume writing, cover letters, mock interviews, job searching and on the job support as needed.Provide emotional support to individuals through counseling and encouragement when an individual may have increased mental health symptoms when starting a new job.

Outreach center's crisis team for support in very rare crisis situations.Additional Preferences : Strong organizational and communication skills.

Interested in working in the mental health field.Passionate about serving individuals with disabilities find competitive employment.

Comfortable working independently.Prefer one on one interaction with others primarily in a computer lab setting and at times in a community setting.
