FUNCTION
This position is responsible for providing maintenance to designated AFC sites.
TOP RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain apartment hardware and interiors in good condition
- Move and dispose of furniture, as needed
- Assists with repairs as needed under maintenance guidelines
- Conduct monthly deep cleaning of stoves and maintenance supplies for staff / clients
- Maintain responsibility of routine inventory
- Maintain monthly inspection of fire systems
- Accept and breakdown of deliveries
- Pick up and disbursements of donations
- Assist with additional assignments as necessary to program operations
- Performs and provides solutions to preventive maintenance
- Maintains compliance of funders and NYS fire codes and safety regulations
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School
Vocational Training
Undergraduate Degree
Masters Degree
HS Diploma / GED preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Valid / Clean NYS Driver’s License (with no points) required. Basic Computer Skills required.
QUALIFICATION NEEDED
A minimum of one year of housekeeping / maintenance experience preferred. Must possess and maintain a good driving record.
Must be able to lift at least fifty (50) pounds. Ability to work independently in the absence of a supervisor. Transgender & gender non-conforming people are encouraged to apply.
