Warehouse Team Leader – Late Shift

As the Outbound Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting the warehouse department to improve efficiency and ensure an effective operation is established and maintained.

Your main responsibilities will include picking and packing customer orders, loading and unloading, maintaining high productivity levels, liaising with customers, leading and supervising the team, training and developing warehouse colleagues, data entry into the Warehouse Management System, and delegating tasks within the team.

Key Responsibilities :

Picking and packing customer’s orders to a high standard : You will ensure that all customer orders are accurately picked and packed, adhering to the company’s quality standards.

Loading and unloading : You will oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring that all products are handled safely and efficiently.

Ensuring productivity levels are high and targets are achieved : You will monitor and manage the productivity of the team, ensuring that all targets are met or exceeded.

Liaising with customers via email, Teams, and phone : You will effectively communicate with customers, addressing any concerns or queries promptly and professionally.

Leading and supervising the team to achieve operational plan : You will provide guidance, support, and direction to your team, ensuring that they understand their roles and responsibilities and work towards achieving the operational plan.

Training and developing warehouse colleagues : You will identify training needs and provide coaching to warehouse colleagues, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their tasks efficiently.

Data entry into the Warehouse Management System : You will accurately enter data into the Warehouse Management System, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of stock levels and transactions.

Leading and delegating within a team : You will delegate tasks and responsibilities to your team members, ensuring that work is distributed effectively and efficiently.

Monday to Friday : 13 : 30 22 : 00

Key Skills :

Previous experience within a fast-paced warehouse environment and a good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and processes.

An organised and methodical approach to work : You should have excellent organizational skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Able to create and follow warehouse processes and procedures : You should have a strong understanding of warehouse processes and be able to implement and follow them consistently.

Attention to detail : You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to complete repetitive tasks accurately and to a high standard.

Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.

Able to work to tight deadlines and within a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Able to maintain an awareness of their working environment and work to Health and Safety standards.

Experience with a recognized WMS (Manhattan, Infor, SAP) would be desirable.
