Quality Assurance Auditor - BWX Technologies, Inc. - Barberton, OH
Responsibilities include :
- Participate in supplier qualification surveys, implementation audits, and surveillances as an auditor or lead auditor
- Perform periodic internal audits, surveillances and assessments to ensure compliance to internal processes and procedures
- Evaluate supplier quality assurance programs and procedures for compliance quality codes, standards and requirements
- Review work documents, drawings, and procedures to ensure that applicable quality requirements are met
- Develop, deploy and maintain quality program procedures
- Evaluate corrective actions for adequacy and completeness
- Other work activities as directed by management
Qualifications / Requirements :
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical discipline preferred
- Typically, a minimum of 6 years of experience
- Demonstrated understanding and implementation of quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME, ANSI, and ASTM)
- Candidates must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to combine initiative with professionalism
- Demonstrated proficiency in technical report writing and presentations using MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
- Experience as a Lead Auditor on multiple internal and supplier audits preferred
- Knowledge of government regulations and industry standards as applied to quality assurance is preferred
