Hostess
Job Description : Primarily focus on ensuring guests have a positive and great welcoming as soon as they enter the restaurant.
Job Duties :
- Greeting guests as soon as they enter the restaurant.
- Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their tables.
- Giving guests accurate wait times and ensuring the waiting area is clean and comfortable.
- Providing customers menus and answering any questions about the menu items.
- Rotating tables with servers to ensure every server has a fair number of tables.
- Placing take-out orders, processing payments, preparing cash drops, and closing out orders.
- Help buss dirty tables and place rolled silverware on clean tables before new guests sitting down.
- Cleaning the dining room, including wiping down tables, chairs, windows and vacuuming the floor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
