We’re seeking a licensed Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA).

In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Orthodontist to provide top-quality care, assist during procedures, and support patients throughout their treatment journey.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate : $25 - $30 / hour based on experience

Compensation : $25 - $30 hourly

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare for patient appointments and maintain a smooth clinical workflow
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments according to safety protocols
  • Take diagnostic records and perform iTero scans
  • Assist the Orthodontist during orthodontic procedures
  • Independently carry out prescribed treatments within the EFDA scope
  • Educate patients on treatment progress and care instructions
  • Facilitate clear communication between the Orthodontist and patients
  • Build strong, positive relationships with patients and families

    • Qualifications :

  • Current EFDA license in the State of Pennsylvania (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of dental or orthodontic assisting experience (orthodontics preferred)
  • Current Radiology License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent chair-side manners and patient communication skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with problem-solving ability
  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments
