We Need :
We have an immediate opening for a Part-time Registered Nurse to do in-home care supervisory visits and initial assessments.
The great part of this position is its flexibility & Paid per visit.
Responsibilities :
Each home care nurse is simply given a monthly list of 10-20 visits to do each month and then given the flexibility to get them done during the month.
This is a great supplemental job to bring in extra revenue for a compassionate, reliable and experienced nurse. Get out in the community and meet some awesome home care clients and aides.
This is position allows for work in the field and requires regular weekly travel to client homes throughout WAKE County and surrounding areas*.
The registered nurse plans, organizes and directs home care services and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on community health education / experience.
The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individuals and families within their homes and communities.
- Regularly re-evaluates patient nursing needs.
- Provides health care instructions to the patient as appropriate per assessment and plan of care.
- Perform supervisory visits every 90 days (60 days if CAP) for clients in assigned areas.
- Communicate any changes in client condition with primary nurse.
- Communicate any concerns regarding aides with field supervisor.
Requirements
A current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or have a multi state license.
Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
Demonstrated ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Must be able to work as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Solid computer skills : prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
Must have knowledge of how to use electronics.
Must have own reliable vehicle.
Must be flexible.
Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
