TRAVELING PROJECT MANAGER
Position requires 10-15 days of travel per month to various construction jobsites.
This position will have an emphasis on project management and project engineering procedures. This is a team player office and seek those who are also team players and have a willingness to help with anything.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- The assigned duties will vary depending on the project requirements but will generally be aligned with construction management functions
- Oversees, manages, and mentors the Project Engineer, when applicable
- Creates, Tracks and updates progress schedules
- Creates daily logs as directed
- Processes and tracks submittal packages
- Processes Contract Change Orders and maintain Change Order log.
- Effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with other project team members.
- Processes and tracks Requests for Information (RFI).
- Manages and updates project logs
- Coordination of vendors with field contractors
- Assists in facilitating the bidding process with contractors
- Processes and tracks Contractor Contracts
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Knowledgeable of general construction procedures, process and tasks.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable dealing with a wide range of personality types.
- Attention to detail and ability to effectively track complicated tasks involving many parties to timely completion
- Proficient with computers to include the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Project and Outlook and Primavera / Expedition / Submittal Exchange a plus.
- Able to multi-task on a regular basis without becoming distracted or overwhelmed.
- Able to work efficiently on a self-directed basis with minimal supervision.
- Knowledgeable of general construction procedures, process and tasks.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable dealing with a wide range of personality types.
- BS degree in construction management or related course of study
SALARY : $100-150K
