Project Management and Operations Specialist

The Opportunity :

Are you searching for a position where you can use your expertise in project management to impact programs across the Army, having a direct role in delivering technology solutions to the warfighter?

In this fast-paced environment, the need to apply project management concepts and rigor to technical projects is critical.

That’s why we need you, a project management specialist capable of collaborating with stakeholders across all parts of an organization to support the development and delivery of mission critical products and services.

On our team, you’ll work closely with the project manager to support all aspects of internal operations, working alongside teams of scientists and engineers in the development, execution, and review of a wide variety of deliverables.

You’ll develop and maintain integrated project schedules, identify dependencies and risks while proposing mitigation strategies, and develop and maintain internal battle rhythm.

You’ll strategize, coordinate, and execute small to large-scale stakeholder engagements. You’ll plan, prepare, and execute regularly scheduled internal strategic meetings.

You’ll implement operating procedures and identify opportunities to drive operational efficiencies while ensuring quality and maintaining compliance with all reporting requirements.

You Have :

  • 5+ years of experience managing project operations, including providing strategic guidance for program structure and delivery focusing on cost, schedule, and performance
  • Experience building relationships across an organization and interfacing with both non-technical and technical staff
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Ability to work at the client site depending on the client’s needs
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have :

  • Knowledge of government contracts, policies, and government acquisition processes
  • Secret clearance
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
