Qualifications :
- Seasoned and experienced Caregiver, CNA or HHA
- Enjoy working with our senior population
- Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual
- Understand the importance of our services to our seniors
- Have a positive attitude and be dedicated to our SHS mission
- High level of emotional intelligence
- Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan
- Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job
- Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism
- Be proactive to find ways to help our seniors once tasks have been completed
Companionship Duties may include :
- Provide Companionship
- Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc
- Shopping and Errands
- Meal Preparation
- Medication Reminders
- Pet Care
- Overnight Supervision
- Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, friends, etc.
Personal Care Duties may include :
- Assist with Dressing
- Assist with Feeding
- Assist with Showering / Bathing
- Mobility Assistance
- Assist with Toileting / Incontinence
- Memory Care
