JOB SUMMARY

Overall Summary of Function

The Market Manager will be responsible for the efficient management and execution of the overall strategic marketing plan.

You will endeavor to transform broad concepts and business strategies into structured projects, while leading the design and delivery of new programs and processes that provide internal and external customer centric solutions.

This is a high visibility position, and a successful candidate will be able to achieve scalable goals associated with tactical marketing for our business strategies that will be productive and additive to the vision of our company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

At Minimum Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages the Tactical Marketing Plan Calendar laid out in the Business Plan Model
  • Gathers feedback from customers, and sales to identify new market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities
  • Instrumental in leading voice of customer based product and service development
  • Organizes, manages and maintains the Company’s CRM
  • Achieves financial and market goals as outlined
  • Provides detailed analysis and routine reporting of business performance and client segmentation
  • Implements, manages and reports on status of marketing campaigns
  • Reviews, manages, analyzes product and service pricing
  • Proactively understands competitive dynamics and market based seasonality to create and deploy strategies that hedge against external factors
  • Leads cross-functional teams for the development of tactical action plans for sustained growth in key channel and customer segments
  • Drives lead generation programs that result in sales and enhance customer segmentation
  • Develops key messaging and tools that communicate product and service value via multiple channels including digital marketing, social media, sales force and tradeshows
  • Creates and provides regular oral and written communication metrics on success, obstacles, and best practices
  • Oversees and is responsible for new product deployment plan, associated web content and other activities necessary for a successful product launch
  • Identifies key industry and customer events
  • Performs targeted Sales Team development and training
  • Develops and nurtures strategic partners and reports upon their performance
  • Oversees and manages the production of all promotional materials
  • Daily management of the marketing department and staff
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS :

At Minimum Training, Education & Experience

  • Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five (5) years of marketing management experience ideally within the fields of event planning and production, catering services, hotel sales, and / or trade show exhibits
  • Additional, sales, product management, e-commerce, brand marketing, digital marketing, marketing communication and / or business development experience is highly desirable.
  • The optimal candidate is a peer group leader with strong leadership qualities, is willing to take on increased responsibilities, often outside the scope of the job description, has strong organizational and prioritization skills, and can excel under conditions of ambiguity.
  • This candidate must have a high capacity to manage and execute marketing plans with strong analytical and business planning skills
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to many diverse customers and audiences
  • Functions effectively in a high performance team and exhibits a high degree of flexibility necessary for a rapidly changing environment
  • Candidates must also demonstrate a positive can do attitude and desire to succeed and continue to excel.
