Overview

We are recruiting Underground Utility Locators for our Fort Collins team. Vannguard is expanding into the I-70 corridor area. This is a position in a drug-free environment with training provided for the right candidate who is safety-minded, works well independently, and takes pride in completing quality work.

Salary : $21.00 per hour

Location : Fort Collins, CO and multiple locations

Employer : Vannguard Utility Partners, Inc.

Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions; a company vehicle is used for job-site travel.

COVID-19 considerations : This position is outdoors and involves minimal contact and interaction with others.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle directly from home to job sites in response to routine ticket requests, emergencies, and relocates.
• Utilize the provided mapping tools and other locating information, along with locating equipment, to locate underground utilities including, but not limited to, electric and gas utilities, telephone, and other communication lines.
• Indicate utility locations through the use of paint, flags, and communicate other relevant information to excavation personnel or other authorities.
• Respond to after-hours emergency call-outs in accordance with the established rotation schedule.
