About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Medical Surgical Float Job Duration : 20 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 1.
5 years License : Valid State License required at time of submission Certifications : BLS required Must-Have : - EPIC charting experience- Ability to float between medical-surgical units Job Description : Work within a short-term acute care facility with 68 staffed beds.
- Provide care for patients with a variety of conditions including : - Medicine - Colorectal Surgery - Urology Surgery - Plastic Surgery - Orthopedic Recon - Hip and Knee Replacement / Revision - Bariatric Surgery - General Surgery - Orthopedic Spine Surgery- Rotate every other weekend as required.
- Participate in a 40-hour orientation.- Willingness to float within the facility and to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
- Scrubs : Navy Blue.- Participation in fit testing may require facial hair guidelines.- Compliance with flu vaccine policy, with medical / religious exemptions considered.
- Adhere to a 75-mile radius rule for local candidate acceptance.- Provide two supervisory references within the last two years.
- Be aware of return policy for previous employees and travelers. This position is suitable for a clinician who is open to floating within the service line and eager to engage in a dynamic healthcare environment.
