The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing of the branch warehouse and delivery operations, including collaborative working relationships with the sales team, customer service and headquarters, to maximize resources to achieve customer satisfaction, productivity, and economic goals. ( This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management.)

Essential Position Functions :

• Plans, organizes, and directs all daily activities of branch warehouse and delivery personnel to ensure standards of performance are maintained.
• Plots driver routes daily.
• Interface daily with branch management and external customers.
• Review and analyze ongoing branch personnel performance results and take corrective measures as needed.
• Evaluate, develop, improve, and implement procedures and practices.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively.
• Build a team environment to accomplish goals.
• Ensures branch operations comply with federal, state, local and company policies.
• Keep Operations Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with sales, customer service and headquarters personnel.
• Other duties as required.
