Tech Lab

Acara Solutions is looking for Tech Lab for our client located in Knoxville, TNIndependently performs, interprets, and troubleshoots laboratory procedures related to unit or donor suitability testing and other assays.

Develops proficiency in laboratory information systems and workflow of samples.Performs routine analytical testing using manual and automated methods and procedures.

Analyzes test results against set controls.Completes maintenance and Quality Control (QC) per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Works within the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines and adheres to all regulatory standards within the Lab.

Shares information with internal contacts with common desire to reach a solution.Follows all safety regulations, Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and rules.

Maintains a clean, safe work environment.Operates analytical instrumentation and technical laboratory equipment.Performs and documents troubleshooting and calibration of instructions.

Performs and documents routine preventative maintenance of assigned instruments and equipment according to established schedule and procedure.

Notifies Supervisor of unresolved instrument issues.Other job-related duties as assigned, including training in multiple departments.

Required Skills / Qualifications : Associate degree in a chemical or physical or biological science or medical laboratory technology.

Minimum of 1 year experience in Tech Lab.Preferred Skills / Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in a chemical or physical or biological science or medical laboratory technology.

Needs intermediate to computer skillsCommunicates effectively within the department and with other lab departments.Medical Lab Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT), licensure in the State of TennesseeAdditional Information : Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
