CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

C & B Material Handling, LLC (part of the C & B Equipment family), a leader and supplier of choice in material handling equipment, automation solutions, and industrial equipment rental, is seeking a Material Handling Customer Service Representative for our location in Chesapeake, Virginia.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving parts and service business objectives through profitable revenue generation.

It will involve conducting B2B sales calls, providing quotes, and selling parts, preventative maintenance contracts, and warehouse products.

You will also conduct customer forklift training and focus on territory development to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

Essential Duties :

• Achieve parts and service business objectives by generating profitable revenue.
• Conduct B2B sales calls to understand customer needs and offer solutions.
• Quote and sell parts, preventative maintenance contracts, and warehouse products.
• Conduct customer forklift training sessions to ensure safe and efficient use of equipment.
• Develop and manage territory to maximize coverage and customer engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in sales or customer service is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in material handling or related industry.
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to resolving customer issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in using CRM software to track sales and customer interactions.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to meet the physical demands and duration of exertion required for all job functions.
