5 days a week, 8 hours per day
Scheduler Job Duties :
- Responsible for managing schedules and scheduling exceptions in our new workforce management system, Click. This includes both short-cycle and long-cycle construction and service work.
- Work with supervisors to resolve schedule issues and ensure priority work is scheduled.
- Monitor radio, phone, and system messages to communicate schedule adjustments to field personnel.
- Dispatch work after the start of the day (after field employees have left the yard in the morning), using Click software.
Adjust crews as necessary after initial dispatching.
- Contact customers as needed to resolve access issues.
- Make customer contact to resolve issues / complaints as needed.
- Identify schedule deficiencies, analyze alternatives, and recommend solutions to schedule conflicts.
- Work with affected parties to ensure conflicts are resolved and / or mitigated.
- Interface with internal groups such as Project Management and Construction, Major Accounts, and the Distribution Operations Center for planned outages and resource coordination.
- Adjust schedules based on feedback.
- Serve as a member of the incident response team.
Minimum Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with multiple levels of the organizational structure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience / training in scheduling resources or maintenance and construction practices.
