- Contract Length : 13 weeks
- Guaranteed 32hr / week, scheduled 40hr / week - 8hr shifts M-F 0645-1515 (6a for open heart cases), with call - approx.
3-4x per week & every other to every third weekend

Job Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Verification
- Experience / Must have skills : 3 years of CVOR experience, open hearts, CABG, Valves
- Must be able to first scrub
- Must be willing to cross-train into general OR if CV volumes are low
- Must be willing to float to the floor as a 1 : 1 sitter
- Must be willing to work holidays
Schedule Information
- Shifts & Scheduling : 0645-1515 M-F, start at 6a for Open Heart Case Prep
- Weeknight Call Requirements : 3-4 times per week, 1515-0645
- Weekend Call Requirements : every other to every third weekend, Fri at 1515 to Mon at 0645
- Holiday / Call Requirements : rotating holidays
- Call response time : 15 minutes
- 8 hour reprieve shifts for post call
- Sleep room available
Unit Specific Information
of Suites : 2 CVOR suites
- Average # of cases per day : 1-3
- Common Cases : Open hearts (CABG, Valve, aneurysms), thoracotomies, VATS, Convergent, AAA, carotids, ION robotic cases, ECMO, Impella 5.5, Stryker towers
- Experience / Must have skills : MUST BE WILLING to cross-train into general OR if CV volumes are low, 3 years of CVOR experience
- Manager / Charge Nurse on each shift : Charge Nurse for all shifts 7a-11p M-F, weekends 7a-7p, manager until 4p M-F

- Uniform / Scrub Color / Dress Code : Provided
- Department has a family atmosphere
- Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity
- RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
