About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Procedural Recovery in Interventional Radiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 4x10s - Four 10-hour shifts per week (Days) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience required- Experience in Interventional Radiography, Neuro and Vascular, ER / Critical Care- Travel experience at large hospitals needed License : Current RN License issued by the State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC) Certifications : Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association Must-Have : NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred- Computer skills- Good verbal and written communication skills- Ability to work effectively as part of a team Job Description : Provide nursing care in a specialized area under general supervision- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments- Assist physicians during examinations and minor diagnostic procedures- Monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary- Administer medications as prescribed- Manage intravenous infusions and blood products- Deliver competent and specialized patient care- Share care plans with patients and families during hospital stay and upon discharge- Oversee treatment provided by support staff and delegate tasks appropriately- Inform patients and families about hospital procedures- Make referrals to appropriate personnel regarding patient care needs- Perform other assigned duties as needed Education : Graduate from an accredited school of nursing- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing preferred Languages : Must be able to read, write, and speak EnglishJoin our team to provide excellent nursing services in a specialized environment and help us deliver top-notch healthcare to our patients.
