Responsibilities This is a full-time, 36 hours per week, position with full benefits. There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

This position also qualifies for a $6, sign on bonus. Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is a bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians.

Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB / Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24 / 7 on-site access to OB / GYN physician coverage.

The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites.

Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s. Visit us online at : Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and / or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units.

Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains.

Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement Job Duties / Responsibilities : Demonstrates knowledge of cardiac monitoring, identifies dysrythmias and treats appropriately.

Accurately assigns triage categories. Maintains current knowledge of medications and their current administration based on age of patient and their clinical condition.

Is able to assist emergency room physician with diagnosis and interventional procedures, i.e., central lines, closed reductions, advanced airway management.

Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program. REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS Registered Nurse with current California RN license.

BLS (AHA) certification ACLS (AHA) certification PALS (AHA) certification NIH Stroke Certification to be completed by end of the week of NEO MICN and TNCC (Inland Valley / status positions only) preferred. CEN encouraged.
